Suggestion: Multiple Suggestions for 501st tweaks & additional content:

  • Addition: Air Burst Rifle
  • Addition: Add TUP to Senior Jobs
  • Addition: AT-RT
  • Modification: 501st Rally (Officer Boost)
  • Removal: Current Juggernaut suits & Replace with New TC Models
  • Modification: current bubble shield to be mapped to the player’s skeleton and model or shrink the size.
  • Addition: T-21 + Attachments

Reason: Need more verity and complexity to the regiment so it creates a attractive element to the reg allowing us more dynamic training's and roleplay opportunities

I would love new options for trainings and being able to switch up our style of play, alot of these changes would allow for more roleplay opportunities and allow use to be involved in more passives. ALSO we know GC have suggested the AT-RT we want it for different reasons and a different one from the same pack

This will be great for 501st it will massively change the Reg and overall make them unique finally. +1

why gun reg need vehicle?
tbf to them what realistic you can give them because if you give them insanely powerful guns they will be nerfed or denied in the first place so what else could you actually give them, one of the main problems 501st have imo is their mobility and they meant to be leading front line but quite a lot of regs can move faster than they can keep up
 
ngl some of this would be awesome in a passive RP situation
You can use whatever you want in trainings, sometimes if I wanna spice up a sim I'll drop a TX to use
 
Do you have more info about this Airburst rifle? Any workshop mods to support it or is it something your wanting developed from scratch?

How will a few of the functions work? Mainly setting the fuse timer for the airburst function, BF4 used whatever you first aimed at, then it would take that distance and add 3m to the fuse. Something like that? Or more like a range set into the weapon?

You also suggested an impact grenade burst? This isn't really what an airburst is so I'm wondering if this is meant to be a grenade launcher rather then an airburst rifle or a mix of the 3 things?

If speed is an issue in terms of attachment negatives have you considered alternatives or picking attachments to fit the situation? If your slow when using certain attachments use them when you take a stationary position rather then during a push, haven't looked too much at your stuff but I think you do have a big variety right?

For damage reduction you discussed it dev comm and it was said that, damage is unoptimized, something that has been worked on activity by devs to improve. have you considered other alternatives?

This suggestion has been Partially Accepted.

The Accepted Parts:

1. The AT-RT will be added with stats (TBD) more fitting the vehicle and will be added to TC and Seniors Only.
2. You will have access to Tup on the Senior Jobs as requested.


The Denied Parts:
1. T-21 + Attachments - This was denied as the admin+ team did not see the need for this weapon to be added.
2. Editing the Bubble shield - This was denied.
3. TC Replacement with Damage Reduction - It was previously stated to yourselves that these reductions are not optimised and that is why this has been denied.
4. 501st Rally - This was denied as it was believed it was made with a clear buff with no downsides to the current one.
5. Airburst Rifle - This was denied as it was believed it doesn't fit your regiment.

Expect this to be in game soon.
