Bug Report: When comms are broken you cannot repair them, only replacing the prop will fix it.
Hyperspace with the coordinates doesnt work, youre not moving anywhere
Steps to Replicate: Break and try to fix the comms/try to hyperspace somewhere

I wouldn't imagine the Comms is linked to the Venator map, I think there's just a general issue with the entity.
 
This was indeed a comms bug, this has been resolved.
Dont forget to extinguish the fire before repairing as while its being repaired it will still take damage from it being on fire.
